Process of Relief
Our revolutionary new process for relief is available through out NBO Medical Centers. With our treatment plan, 90 – 95% of patients report noticeable or dramatic relief in most of their symptoms.
The initial visit begins with a thorough examination by a qualified practitioner. Once the neuropathy diagnosis has been confirmed, we begin our exclusive therapy plan. Patients will be seen 2-3 times per week for 40 minutes over a 10-12 week time period. Some patients graduate earlier, depending on their improvements.
The process begins with Electronic Signal Treatment (EST). EST is a series of electronic signals, delivered by electrodes on the surface of the skin. It reduces inflammation and stimulates the release of pain suppressing neuro-modulators found in the central nervous system. Next, a series of tiny peripheral nerve blocks are put in the affected areas with a local anesthetic to minimize any discomfort. If the patient tolerates the treatments well, the level of frequency will be increased. Some patients experience more discomfort in the first couple of weeks. This is caused by the “waking up” of nerves and does subside, leading to improvement and relief.
